Arrgh! The filthy ‘European City Guide’ is back! We’ve received more of their nasty forms. There’s a cesspit in continental Europe which sends out these forms asking you to check your company details for an ‘inter-professional guide on CD-Rom and Internet’. Don’t complete them! You can hear my honeyed RP tones on Radio 4’s Feedback this weekend. Just a few seconds. I wrote congratulating Paul Gambaccini for his Radio 2 tribute to Michael Jackson last Friday. I love Aviary, a terrific alternative to Photoshop and other image manipulators, that’s used completely online in the browser. It’s latest feature is especially cool – just type aviary.com into the browser address bar followed by the address of a web, and it will grab the whole page, scrolling right down to the bottom. For example, aviary.com/http://www.publicityworks.biz gives the result shown here.
