Former chef with extensive experience of the foodservice equipment industry joins FEM to support continued growth across Ireland
Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) has announced that Sean Bouvette will join the company as its new Regional Sales Manager for Ireland.
Sean brings extensive experience across the foodservice and catering industries. Prior to joining FEM, he was Area Sales Manager for Sysco Ireland, having previously held roles as Regional Manager for Stephens Catering Equipment and Regional Sales Manager at Rational.
This varied experience has given Sean a strong understanding of the Irish foodservice market, as well as extensive experience working with manufacturers, dealers and end users.
Originally from Canada, Sean moved to Northern Ireland in 2015, where he lives with his wife and their two sons. He holds a BA in Business Administration and is also a trained chef. His experience working in professional kitchens gives him valuable insight into the challenges and requirements faced by foodservice operators.
“I’m excited to help continue the hard work that FEM has done across Ireland and to help spread the word about the amazing family of quality brands that we have to offer,” says Sean.
In his new role, Sean will develop relationships with manufacturers, dealers and end users, run product demonstrations and help increase awareness of FEM’s growing portfolio of foodservice equipment brands. He will also play a key role in identifying new opportunities and supporting the continued growth of FEM’s presence across Ireland.
“We are thrilled to have Sean onboard with us,” says Mike Inwood, Sales Director at FEM. “His background as a chef, his experience working for a manufacturer covering all of Ireland, and his time working with dealers and end users covers everything we were looking for.
“We have some fantastic new products, including the Pratica high-speed ovens, and this type of product really needs to be demonstrated. Sean has exactly the skill set and industry experience required to show these ovens off and help customers understand the opportunities they offer.”
Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, particularly outdoor activities. The family regularly enjoys camping and water sports, including swimming, boating, paddleboarding and kayaking. They also love travelling and are working their way through a bucket list of destinations.
