SafeTrak GN pans from FEM offers a flexible food storage solution
FEM has launched a range of BPA-free pans that offer an incredibly convenient and hygienic way to label, store and serve food. Made of translucent polypropylene, SafeTrak GN pans are manufactured by Cambro and are designed to eliminate waste, reduce risk and simplify compliance.
The key to their user-friendliness is their permanently moulded-in labels, which will never peel or fade. Using the SafeTrak pen, staff simply write on the label – the ink is smudge-free, durable and freezer-resistant, coming off only when washed. This level of convenience makes it easy to ensure HACCP compliance and reduce risk, with clear and consistent traceability.
SafeTrak containers come in a range of six GN sizes, from 1/1 to 1/9, all of which offer a choice of depths to suit virtually any application. For example, the GN 1/1 pan comes in four depths, from 65mm to 200mm, while the GN 1/4 model has three choices: 65mm, 100mm and 150mm. With twenty different sizes to choose from, the SafeTrak range offers a truly flexible food storage solution.
The long-lasting polypropylene construction resists stain, acid and odours, and, as well as being BPA-free, is BPS- and PFAS-compliant. The pans are dishwash safe, up to 93°C, while their recommended storage temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
Also available are colour-coded SafeTrak seal covers. Available in six HACCP-recommended colours, including purple and translucent, they help prevent cross-contamination and aid allergen control by clearly identifying food types. The covers feature a special inner seal that can extend shelf life by up to three days. The covers are available for each of the SafeTrak GN pan sizes and are available to purchase individually or as a six-pack, containing one of each colour.
