Falcon goes ‘live with Lainox’ for sales, support and spares
As of June 20th 2017 Falcon is ‘live’ with Lainox, as the British manufacturer takes over UK distribution of the award-winning combi oven range.
Falcon will supply Lainox combination ovens, parts and detergents, as well as providing technical and customer support. Falcon’s sales and technical teams are already familiar with the product range, as the company has sold a selection of Lainox products for several years. (more…)
Falcon launches new combi ovens with improved functionality and ease of use
Falcon has taken the functionality of combination ovens to a new level with the launch of its latest models. These units are available in programmable and manual versions, with both benefitting from improvements to construction, aesthetics and usability.
The top of the range ‘T’ models feature an upgraded user interface. The new high definition colour tablet-style touchscreen is incredibly easy to operate. It can be completely configured to suit each individual kitchen’s requirements, with the home page able to display the most frequently used programmes, which can then be started with just one touch. Rational tick the boxes at The Woodspeen
Michelin star chef John Campbell describes his new venture, The Woodspeen near Newbury, Berkshire, as a customer-focused, community restaurant where the food is simple, accessible and tasty. “We source local, beautiful ingredients, in their prime, and we don’t do much with them,” he says. The richly diverse menu ranges from cod loin, cockle and parsley emulsion, cavolo nero and squash to gammon, egg and chips. But one thing all the food has in common is that it’s cooked in. (more…)
“Brilliant” Rational combi steamer is a hit with staff and customers
West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds prides itself on the quality of its food – nearly all of which is freshly cooked in house. With three meals a day for the 450 patients, plus feeding the hospital’s staff and visitors, work is demanding for the 14 chefs and 57 catering staff.
