FEM highlights Vollrath utensils with a lifetime warranty

Covered by the lifetime limited warranty are Vollrath’s tongs, ladles, portioners, spoodles, spoons and turners many of which are colour-coded providing an easy way to control food contact and cross-contamination. They are ideal for HACCP requirements and have all-natural antimicrobial properties to guard against harmful bacteria.

Offering impressive durability, efficiency and versatility, the Vollrath one-piece scalloped tongs are perfect for cooking and serving. Examples include the 241mm heavy-duty utility grip tong.  Made from 20-gauge stainless steel, it has a smooth handle offering a comfortable grip. The concave, scalloped ends gently, but firmly, grip food items. It’s great for grilling and buffet and table service.

The 18-8 grade stainless steel ladles come in six different sizes, from 1 to 8oz (28 to 227g) with different coloured Kool-Touch handles for a comfortable, cool grip and easy identification to prevent cross contamination. The handles are colour-safe up to 107°C and permanently bonded so they will not slip or peel off. They are also hooked to prevent sliding into pots and to offer convenient storage.

The portioners and scoops have moulded one-piece handles to improve durability and make cleaning easy. Their stainless steel bowls, available in a range of sizes from 0.33 to 5.33oz (9 to 151g), are durable, long lasting and resist corrosion.  The handles are colour-coded with an extended length and grooved design for a comfortable and secure grip. The blade extends beyond the bowl to prevent sticking and for accurate portion control. They are all dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

By combining the design elements of a spoon and a ladle, the Vollrath Spoodle is convenient, accurate and easy to use. Its one-piece stainless steel construction is durable and sanitary and the textured handle surface prevents slippage while in use. Colour-coded and with capacity clearly stamped on the shaft for quick size identification, there is a built-in stopper notch to prevent the spoodle from sliding into the food. The high-temperature patented nylon handle is heat resistant to 232°C and the mirror-finished stainless steel shafts and bowls are resistant to corrosion. They are available in a range of sizes with solid or perforated bowls – with the solid bowl design ideal for serving sauces and dressings.
