ACIS Sponsors Ulster Karting Grand Prix 2008

ACIS water coolers sponsored the Ulster Karting Grand Prix at Nutts Corner, near Belfast airport, over the weekend of August 23-24th 2008. ACIS joined forces with Irish dealer MCR Watercoolers to support the event, which saw 30BHP go-karts hurtling round the circuit at speeds of 90mph – just one inch off the ground.

"The racing was incredibly competitive and very exciting," says Paul Fullerton of MCR, who is a karting enthusiast himself. "I was delighted that ACIS agreed to co-sponsor the event with us. It was the big race of the year and was a great weekend."

The ACIS water cooler brand is part of the Apuro Group, the UK-based company specializing in commercial foodservice equipment. "Sponsorship is a key partof Apuro’s campaign throughout Ireland," said Nigel Elwick. "This is a growing market for us and MCR Watercoolers will be an important factor in our success here.
