One cabinet, two independently controlled MultiTemp sections
Operators looking for state-of-the-art refrigeration flexibility that maximises available kitchen space will find it in Williams’ new Jade MultiTemp VVJ1 cabinet. The model not only offers the full MultiTemp temperature range – from -22°C to +8°C – it also has two independent sections, each with its own dedicated controller, allowing different storage temperatures to run simultaneously in the same cabinet. Having launched the first MultiTemp cabinets on the foodservice market, Williams has now launched the first multi-MultiTemp!
Being a MultiTemp unit, the VVJ1 offers chefs the freedom to adjust the controllers to store products at precisely the best temperature – whether they want their exclusive cheese kept at 6°C, their premium meat at 0°C, or their signature ice cream at -12°C. Having two independently controlled MultiTemp sections means chefs can store different produce at the same time, in one space-saving cabinet.
The two sections of the VVJ1 can each hold 189 litres, giving a total capacity of 378 litres. The cabinet’s footprint is 727mm wide by 880mm deep, and its height is 1960mm.
The enhanced airflow design ensures even and consistent cooling across both sections, whatever temperatures have been set. The VVJ1 is built to Climate Class 5, which means it’s ideal for the busiest kitchens and can operate in ambients of up to 43°C. The robust stainless steel exterior and aluminium interior assist hygiene and ensure longevity.
The VVJ1 runs on natural refrigerant, which has low GWP (Global Warming Potential) and zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential). Its 80mm polyurethane insulation delivers excellent thermal efficiency. Connectivity is built into the new Jade MultiTemp range – the VVJ1 is WiFi enabled for remote monitoring, temperature adjustment and HACCP logging. Williams has calculated the embodied carbon figures for this model, using the TM65 methodology, and they have been verified by CIBSE.
“The whole concept behind the MultiTemp range is to offer refrigeration with flexibility built in,” says Malcolm Harling, sales and marketing director of Williams. “The VVJ1 takes that flexibility to the max.”
