Taylor UK makes perfect pizzas cooked continuously easy with new Turbochef conveyor oven

Taylor UK is now supplying the range of High h Conveyor 1618 rapid cook ovens from Turbochef. These are designed to allow baked goods such as pizzas to be cooked continuously.

It features two independently controlled air impingement systems above and below the cook chamber, which guarantees even heat distribution and super fast cooking times. Variable speed blower motors ensure that each item is cooked according to the selected program. This allows it to cook a fresh dough pizza in just 2 minutes and 45 seconds, a toasted sandwich in just 90 seconds or French fries in 4 minutes.

The oven is controlled through Turbochef’s One Touch interface, which can be customised with images selected by operators and which has unlimited recipe storage. Units can be monitored and updated remotely through the Open Kitchen connectivity software which tracks and records performance metrics as well as alerting operators to potential maintenance or operation issues.

Sturdily constructed from easy to clean stainless steel, the oven automatically transports food through from back to front, with a 91cm input/output conveyor to allow for constant throughput of product. If more capacity is required a 121cm conveyor extension option can be specified, and the direction of cooking can also be customised according to requirements.

Up to three ovens can be stacked together with the optional kit, increasing the maximum output in the same footprint.

Further options include powerful catalytic filters that allow the oven to operate ventlessly. This provides great flexibility of installation, as well as helping to reduce energy costs due to the reduced need for ventilation.
