FEM launches the Everpure combi- and steam oven reverse osmosis filtration system
Getting the right water treatment for combi and steam ovens is vital, not only to protect the machine but also to ensure that the cooking results are the best they can be. FEM has now launched the Pentair Everpure EZ-RO, a filtration system designed specifically for combi ovens and steamers. This smart, compact and highly efficient solution delivers outstanding results and provides everything required to reduce contaminants and protect equipment, in one simple package.
The Everpure EZ-RO uses reverse osmosis (RO) to filter the water’s TDS (total dissolved solids) reducing the problems of hardness and chlorides that cause corrosion and scale build up and can taint food flavour. Designed to meet combi and steamer oven water quality standards, it has a special high performance RO membrane that saves up to twice as much water as standard systems. The EZ-RO adds back calcium and magnesium to the water, to help protect equipment and improve the water’s taste. A 4CM cartridge monitors the water for the correct level of mineral content, to ensure conductivity sensors on steam equipment can function effectively.
The EZ-RO is a compact system measuring just 422mm high by 442mm wide and 203mm deep and it can be wall-mounted, free-standing or sited below a counter. It has an easy install kit and accessible ports, making installation, operation and servicing a breeze. It’s available in two capacities – 35 litre and 60 litre – both of which fit into the same body, giving businesses the flexibility to upgrade without having to buy a whole new setup. A sealed hydropneumatics storage tank ensures there is plenty of capacity to supply pressurised water to the combi steamer at all times.
The Pentair Everpure EZ-RO system ensures a reliable supply of crystal-clear water while reducing contaminants, scaling and maintenance issues. FEM also supplies replacement cartridges and RO modules for the EZ-RO system.
