Shiny, stylish, safe and sustainable – new induction chafers from FEM

Energy-saving models offer precise temperature control

Induction chafers are increasingly popular for buffets and self-service because they offer precise temperature control and energy efficiency – plus they are easy to use and there’s no open flame to worry about.  Now FEM has launched a new range of induction chafers manufactured by Pujadas in Spain.

The chafers are available in three styles, round, square and rectangular.  Each chafer comes with one stainless steel pan included with the chafing dish.  Optional stand with burners, porcelain pans and additional stainless steel pans are available to purchase separately for each style. The round and square stands come with one burner included, whereas the rectangle style has two burners.

The chafers’ eye-catching design features a high quality, polished stainless steel body, which is striking and elegant.  The lids have a large glass window so guests can see the contents.  The robust stands are stainless steel and have four stylishly chunky legs.

The chafer’s diffuser base ensures even heat distribution to maintain food quality throughout the dish.  Other practical features include a hydraulic hinge and plastic stopper, so the lids close silently and softly – they are also easily removable for cleaning.

The round chafer dish has a 460mm diameter and holds six litres.  The square model’s dish measures 410mm wide by 500mm deep, holding 5.5 litres, while the rectangular unit’s dish is 580mm by 500mm and holds 9 litres. The rectangular dish is suitable for holding a 1/1 Gastronorm pan.

FEM also supplies a range of induction buffet warmers suitable for use with the Pujadas Chafers.  Additionally, there is a universal electric induction heater also available from FEM that’s suitable for use with all Pujadas chafers.
