Tempest blender whizzes up a storm

FEM’s New Hamilton Beach Commercial Tempest blender – built for busy bars

No chunks, no lumps, just effortless super-smooth drinks – that’s what the latest Hamilton Beach Commercial Tempest blender promises. Now available from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM), the HBH650 Tempest blender uses Hamilton Beach Commercial’s patented wave action feature to force the contents to be blended continuously down onto the stainless steel blades, producing outstanding drinks.

The Tempest is built to take the workload of busy bars, blending up a 16oz daiquiri in just 12 seconds. Its powerful 3hp motor and sturdy all-metal drive coupling can cope with, and deliver, a pounding. The HBH650 features two speeds, a jump cycle and pulse button for maximum drink versatility, and a cool-down cycle to ensure continuous blending.

A timer with automatic cut-off facilitates precision blending and frees up operators for other tasks. There is no worry about over-heating as a temperature gauge alerts the operator to any problems. Other safety features include a jar pad sensor, which turns the motor off when the container is not in place, and the sure grip feet prevent skidding.

The blender’s generous 1.8 litre stackable container is fitted with a filler cap so liquid can easily be added during blending. Suitable for front of house use, the blender measures 45.7cm(h) x 20.3cm(d) x 17.8cm. Supplied with a 3 year parts and labour warranty, the Tempest is designed to blend and blend all day long.
