New Sam Jamar Cool Touch oven gloves from FEM provide extra heat protection
In the commercial kitchen employees are often required to handle extremely hot cooking equipment. Mistakes may result in severe injury, which is why heat protection is a key solution to managing speed and safety. San Jamar’s new Cool Touch oven gloves from FEM offer exceptional protection against open flames and high heat workspaces.
Made with the flame-retardant Nomex® and Kevlar®, San Jamar’s Cool Touch oven mitts safeguard hands from temperatures of up to 280°C, for 30 seconds. They will also provide some flame protection up to 482°C. Unique to San Jamar, the Kevlar WebGuard™ provides further protection and durability between the thumb and forefinger, which are the parts of the hand most exposed to heat when cooking.
They’re also comfortable – the angled cuff design makes hand movement easy when wearing the gloves.
As well as a standard hanging loop, Cool Touch gloves feature a magnetic store-away system which allows them to be attached to any magnetic surface.
Made with strong, heat-resistant poly-carbon, San Jamar’s Cool Touch oven gloves are machine washable. This allows high levels of hygiene to be maintained and ensures they are long-lasting.
