Keeping cool: True shows sustainable refrigeration at Hotelympia 2012

See True refrigeration on Stand1640, Hotelympia 2012, 26th February to 1st March

True is using Hotelympia as an opportunity to show its range of heavy duty refrigeration recently relaunched onto the UK. The American manufacturer, one of the world’s leading refrigeration specialists, has been developing sustainable models that are especially tailored for the UK and Irish markets.

“Rising energy costs and environmental considerations mean buyers are taking a long hard look at getting value for money from their refrigeration,” says John Lilly, marketing director of True UK. “We will have experts on the stand to explain how True’s designs offer cost effective and environmentally friendly solutions.”

True has taken a slightly different approach on energy saving than other refrigeration manufacturers, by designing refrigeration systems that are larger than the industry standard.  This means they pull down and recover temperature quickly, resulting in short run times which save energy.  An added benefit is that the fast pull-down times enhance food safety.

Lower energy consumption means lower running costs, while the shorter run times mean the system works less hard and so lasts longer. True offers a five year compressor warranty and uses completely sealed, oil filled, self-lubricating fan motors with a life expectancy of 15 to 20 years. Its Ecomate foamed-in-place CFC-free polyurethane, high density insulation has a zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and zero global warming potential (GWP).

Visitors will be able to see True’s range of upright cabinets including those with display fronts, undercounter models, refrigeration units with worktops, load-bearing tops and salad prep tables. The prep tables feature a full length removable cutting board made of high density, white polyethylene with refrigerated wells at the back to hold pans of ingredients. Stainless steel, patented, foam insulated lids and hood keep pan temperatures colder, locking in freshness and minimising condensation.

The complete True Refrigeration range is available through dealers across the UK and Ireland.  For more information visit www.truemfg.com/uk or call True UK on +44 (0) 1709 888888.
