San Jamar Safety Wrap System from Foodservice Equipment Marketing promotes safe food storage
Wrapping either raw or cooked food and labelling it accurately before storage is an important part of food safety and hygiene practice in the commercial kitchen. To simplify this procedure Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) now supplies the San Jamar SafetyWrap Station.
This integrated all-in-one wrapping and labelling system is a complete solution to help prevent cross-contamination and ensure safe food storage. Because all the wrapping tools are in one station the procedure is faster, safer and easier and correct practice is more likely to be implemented.
The SafetyWrap Station combines a film and foil dispenser, an integrated dating label dispenser and side caddies to store pens, cutters and other tools. The roll is completely enclosed in the dispenser protecting it from dirt and damage.
Suitable for both film and foil, the system is available in two versions: the basic SW1218 or the SW1218SC with a slide cutter. Both can accommodate 30.5 to 45.7cm wide film or foil rolls with a maximum diameter of 13cm and a minimum core diameter of 3.05cm. The integral date label dispenser can hold up to 10 rolls of labels, depending on their width.
The SafetyWrap station stands on the countertop and has handles at each end so that it can easily be moved to where it is needed.
