Heart of England experiment puts patient choice at the heart of meal service

Moffat V-Gen trolleys facilitate radical system Heart of England Foundation Trust has a system where patients chose their meal at point of service, on the ward, rather than by filling in menu forms in advance.  Helping facilitate this system is a fleet of Moffat V-Gen regen trolleys.  Each day patients are given a choice of three hot main meals, at lunch and dinner, as well as salad and sandwiches and a selection of hot and cold desserts that are served...

Chill, store, regen and serve, all from one trolley… Moffat at the Hospital Caterers Association National Conference and Exhibition, Celtic Manor, 11-12 April 2013 Moffat has developed a wide choice of equipment to suit the different meal delivery systems operated by hospitals.  At the HCA Conference the company will focus on regen, emphasising the range by showing a single tray regen trolley alongside a bulk food model.
