New Grab & Go Moffat heated display unit keeps hot food fresh and tasty

Soggy-Free Pastries! British manufacturer E & R Moffat has expanded its Grab & Go foodservice range with the launch of heated multi-tier display units.  While Grab & Go is increasingly popular in all sectors of the catering market, getting heated display units right has proved to be an issue.  Moffat has developed a special circulating air system that gently warms the product without making it soggy or dry out – so pastries stay hot and fresh for longer.

HCA 2013: Williams shows energy-efficient Grab & Go Multidecks

Hospital Caterers Association National Conference and Exhibition, Celtic Manor, 11-12 April 2013 Williams will promote its latest Grab and Go Multideck merchandisers at the HCA Conference.  New features and options include sliding front doors, a choice of stainless steel colour finishes and robust, energy-efficient LED strip lighting. The new sliding front doors can reduce energy consumption by up to 50% compared to standard open-fronted merchandisers. The doors themselves are smooth operating and self-closing, allowing easy access, while guaranteeing uniform temperatures....

Refrigeration that Recycles the Curtain: Williams launches a sustainable merchandiser

New ‘air curtain’ system improves energy efficiency; plus advanced temperature controls and ‘display-maximising’ design Williams has launched a Sandwich Chiller as part of its Gem range for the Grab and Go sector.  The open-fronted, self-service cabinet features an innovative new ‘air curtain’ system, developed by Williams, which recycles the cold air that is normally wasted in conventional designs.  This, combined with several other energy-saving features, makes the Gem Sandwich Chiller the most sustainable on the market, the company says.
