CESA exports CFSP to mainland Europe

Austrian course pushes number of CFSP graduates past the 200 mark CESA has just completed the first CFSP course to run on mainland Europe.  CFSP (Certified Food Service Professional) is the professional foodservice qualification designed to give graduates an holistic understanding of the way commercial kitchens operate.  The course was run in Lienz, Austria, for Liebherr Commercial Refrigeration.  It attracted fourteen candidates from seven countries, including Singapore, Canada and Russia, eleven of whom passed.

CESA’s CFSP programme to expand into Sweden, Russia and India

CFSP (Certified Food Service Professional), the industry specific professional qualification for the UK Food Service industry has just seen a record number of 43 people attend its latest seminar. This will bring the total of those, in the UK, who are CFSP qualified to over 200. CESA and EFCEM call on EU to change proposals that could reduce foodservice industry’s ability to cut energy consumption

Sustainability: is the EU getting it wrong?  CESA is chair of the Technical Committee of EFCEM (the European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufacturers).  Recently EFCEM met with the EU Commission at a Consultation Forum to discuss the future development of catering equipment, focusing particularly on refrigerated cabinets, blast chillers and walk-in cold rooms.
