After Hobart and Dawson, Mellor looks forward to building the Comenda brand
One of the catering equipment industry’s most experienced dishwasher specialists, Jonathan Mellor, has joined Hubbard Systems as Technical Sales Manager responsible for the Comenda brand. Mellor has twenty years’ experience in commercial dishwashing, working with Hobart and Dawson MMP.
The move follows Hubbard Systems’ appointment as UK distributor of the Comenda brand by The Ali Group. “We aim to offer the same level of customer support for Comenda as we do for Scotsman icemakers,” says Simon Aspin, commercial director of Hubbard Systems. “That means recruiting the top experts in the industry – and Jonathan certainly fits the bill.”

The Barometer is a quarterly survey of CESA members, aiming to find out the key issues affecting their businesses, their perceptions about the future, and their plans over the next 12 months.
Space-saving refrigeration from Precision optimises operations in 15m2 kitchen
The pressure on retail space in London is incredible and when it comes to finding new sites for restaurants, a creative approach is essential. Now one enterprising restaurateur has taken things to the extreme, by opening up in ‘the smallest room in the house’. Except in the case of the Festa sul Prato, Italian Café and Restaurant, it is a formerly derelict toilet block in Folkestone Gardens, a small park in Deptford, South London. And it’s a triumph of both design and cuisine that is proving to be hugely popular.

The Sales Relationship Management course lasts two days and focuses on ways for sales professionals to enhance client relationships by integrating product knowledge into their work. It is aimed at account managers, project managers and other personnel who interact directly with customers.
