Taylor UK Service confirms recommissioning talks with fast food operators

Ice machines, cooking appliances and ice cream dispensers about to get turned back on

As the fast food sector looks to reopen its doors, albeit gradually, Taylor UK has confirmed that its Service division has been in talks with major customers in the sector about recommissioning equipment.

“We are in close communications with the major chains and their franchisees,” says marketing manager David Rees.  “Alongside discussing recommissioning kitchen and front of house appliances, there’s also considerable interest in longer term ‘peace of mind’ service packages, which is an interesting development and may reflect changes in attitude in terms of how businesses will operate in the ‘new normal.’”

Amongst the key fast food appliances that Taylor UK supplies are soft service ice cream machines and clamshell grills.  Meanwhile sister company Hubbard Systems supplies Scotsman ice machines to the fast food sector.

In addition to the Taylor and Scotsman products, Taylor UK Service looks after a wide a variety of other brands with strong links to the fast food sector.  They include Frigomat, Pratica, Quality Fry, La Cimbali, Turbochef and ISA.

“We are poised to support the fast food sector as it turns back on,” says Rees.
