CustomerCall is designed to manage the restaurant queue. Customers are given a pager when they arrive. As soon as their table is ready, staff send them a message to return to be seated. Meanwhile customers can relax in the bar, rather than waiting in line. Tables are turned more efficiently, staff don’t waste time searching for customers and the restaurant entrance is clear of queues, because the people who would have been waiting there are in the bar, spending money. Most CustomerCall systems are sold with around 30 pagers, though the transmitter can handle up to 999.
WaiterCall speeds up customer service and improves food quality. It consists of small pagers worn by waiting staff and a transmitter sited in the kitchen or pass area. When an order is ready waiters are paged so they can return to collect the food and serve it immediately, in perfect condition to the diner. It enables waiters to spend more time with customers, rather than hanging around the kitchen. WaiterCall can accommodate up to 24 pagers.
