Rational showcases latest ClimaSoft® technology and uses Bistro concept to demonstrate latest combi cooking techniques

At Hotelympia 2010 Rational turns the spotlight on the latest version of its ClimaSoft combi cooking technology, which is designed to produce the tenderest, most succulent roast meats possible.   The company will also be demonstrating state-of–the-art combi cooking techniques in a Bistro setting designed to allow the market-leading SelfCooking Center® to display its versatility and ease of use.

Visitors to stand N2109 will also be able to check out Rational’s ever-popular ‘front of house’ cooking demonstrations, which this year cover everything from breakfast to banquets.

ClimaSoft
The SelfCooking Center’s ClimaSoft technology uses an ultra-mild cooking climate and long cooking time – up to 24 hours – to age and tenderize meat. The meat is seared to start off, then cooked, usually overnight. The latest version includes an automatic crisping process that ensures perfect crackling and crispy skins. The results are incredibly succulent, delicious roasts, even with cheaper cuts of meat, with virtually no wastage.

Bistro Challenge
The modern Bistro offers an incredibly eclectic menu: it features everything from posh bacon butties through classic French cuisine to subtle Thai recipes or a red-hot vindaloo. So the best bistro kitchen needs versatile cooking equipment – especially if, as in many cases, space is at a premium. That’s why Rational is using a Bistro-themed stand to demonstrate the versatility of its SelfCooking Center.

Visitors to the stand will be able see just how ‘bistro-tastic’ the SelfCooking Center is, not only because it can prepare such a wide range of recipes, but also because it cooks them all perfectly.
