AFFORDABLE DISHWASHERS RIGHT FROM THE START

058 Classeq’s Hydro 500 dishwasher keeps costs down

From the word go, the Hydro 500 from Classeq is designed to keep costs down. It is a small, affordable, British-built, front loading dishwasher, especially suitable for catering operations that work to a tight budget.
Measuring only 450 mm wide, 550mm deep and 750mm high, the Hydro 500 can fit into even small kitchen areas. It takes 400mm square racks that can hold a maximum of nine plates. Despite its size, its performance statistics are impressive – with cycle times of only three minutes the Hydro can process up to 20 racks, or 180 full size dinner plates per hour.

Key cost areas such as staff training time, energy, water and detergent consumption as well as maintenance have all been addressed by Classeq in the Hydro’s design. Simple clear controls mean quick and easy staff training. The double-skinned door is not only cooler to the touch and quieter in operation but also cuts down energy costs.

The space-saving integral chemical dosing pumps ensure safe, accurate and effective use of detergents – lowering costs and reducing staff contact with chemicals. Removable door and rack guides give better access for cleaning and maintenance to keep service bills down.  A moulded-steel interior wash chamber makes cleaning and maintenance easier and thus delivers more consistent results.

Energy costs are further lowered by the Hydro 500’s compact 10 litre wash tank, which shortens start- up times. A full coverage filter system keeps the wash water cleaner for longer, requiring fewer water changes but producing superior cleaning power. To simplify operation an auto cycle facility sets the machine washing automatically when operating temperatures are reached.
