Samsung Professional Appliances is relaunching its ‘SnackMate’ manual commercial microwave oven. The new model features updated fascias and controls, upgraded construction and increased power output.
“The new SnackMate has been reengineered to reflect our customers’ changing demands,” says Samsung Professional Appliances senior manager, David Watts. “It is tougher, easier to control and has a longer warranty for extra peace of mind.”
The two original manually controlled models in the ‘SnackMate’ range have been combined and relaunched as the CM1079. This new unit offers increased power levels up to 1100 watts, has a fully stainless steel outer casing and robustly-constructed control knobs.
The microwave has five power levels for cooking versatility, is easy to operate – just set the time and power and push the button – and has a pull-to-open door with a large display window, so that staff can easily monitor what’s cooking.
The CM1079 is a compact unit with a 26 litre oven cavity. It measures 297(h) x 517(w) x 412mm(d) and can be plugged into a standard 13amp supply. This makes it an easy to position, ‘go anywhere’ solution that is suitable for virtually any light-duty catering application, from snack bars to back bars.
The CM1079 also features a full three year warranty, at a price point where the market norm is just 12 months. “The longer warranty reflects the high quality of construction and components,” says David Watts.
