Parsley in Time hosts Tableware Takeover at the Business Design Centre

Looking for presentation innovation? Inspiration? The latest tableware products and trends? Maybe some canapés on the side, too… If that sounds like your cup of tea (or glass of wine) then head for the Business Design Centre, 10am till 4pm, on Thursday 10th September and enjoy Parsley in Time’s Tableware Takeover.
The event sees six of the market’s leading tableware suppliers open their showroom doors at the BDC to unveil their latest collections and concepts, with the expert team from Parsley in Time on hand to offer specialist advice – and exceptional hospitality!
The six suppliers are Amefa, Arc, Artis, Churchill, Nevilles and Villeroy & Boch. Among the new products launches are Disco cocktail glasses from Arc, combining elegance and texture, and the Polworth range of chef’s knives from Amefa, which are made of Damascus steel and are very durable. Each of the six suppliers will also be offering prizes for visitors, selected from their collections.
Trends are bound to be a hot topic at the event. Parsley in Time’s area sales manager Rob Priest says, “There will be a lot of new concepts and ideas on show at the Takeover. It’s an opportunity to meet the experts, rather than flicking through a brochure, to come and hold the products for yourself.”
Fabio Di Palma is UK business development manager for Amefa. He says, “Examples of trends in cutlery include people moving away from lighter to heavier gauges – they like a heavier feel, particularly when it comes to fine dining. We’re also seeing operators looking for more avant garde designs – something that’s just out of the ordinary.”
Visitors will be able to enjoy suitably upmarket drinks and food provided by Parsley in Time – and anyone who wants to extend the discussion is welcome to come to the after-show party at Flight Club in Islington.
