Making sure it’s sterile

Sirman Vista UVC sterilisers launched by FEM effective against bacteria and viruses

Hospitality is reopening, restrictions are lifting but one thing remains certain, hygiene will remain top of the agenda. Having clean and sterilised products is a must for foodservice operations of any size. FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has launched a range of countertop Sirman Vista UVC sterilisers that can be used to sterilise face masks, phones and tablets as well as utensils. These sterilisation cabinets are also suitable for retail and health and beauty establishments.

The compact Sirman Vista UVC sterilisers are designed to hold glasses, cutlery and accessories in such a way that there is no need to turn them for effective bacteria and virus sterilisation. Featuring smoked plexiglass doors and removable see-through holders, these sterilisers are easy to clean and offer perfect sterilisation before and after service/opening times.

There are three models in the range, all made from stainless steel and aluminium. The Vista UVC 16W S has two 8W mercury vapour lamps with wire screen protection, while the Vista UVC 24W SH has three. A safety microswitch switches the lamps on when the door is opened and switches them off when it is closed. A timer can be set between 0 – 120 minutes as appropriate. The S model has one plastic removable transparent shelf, whereas the SH models have two. There is also an optional plastic removable transparent holder for tablets and smartphones (14 tablets capacity) for the SH cabinets.

The SH units measure 495mm (w) x 355mm (d) x 405mm (h) and weigh 12kg while the S has the same footprint but is only 320mm high.
