Uptime! stops downtime…

Caffeine Limited launches Schaerer’s simple and effective espresso machine descaler system.

Scale is an espresso machine killer.  Untreated, it can lead to serious damage resulting in downtime.  To protect the mechanism, regular descaling is essential – but it’s not easy and it has to be done thoroughly.   That’s why Schaerer developed its Uptime! system, which makes it easy for staff to perform essential maintenance on their coffee machine, including descaling procedures.

The Schaerer range of bean to cup coffee machines is distributed by Caffeine Limited, the coffee equipment specialist.

Uptime! is available on the Schaerer Coffee Soul bean to cup espresso machine.  It means descaling can be done without the need for an engineer callout, with no dangerous descaling procedures.  It’s a money saving option that’s also hugely convenient.

Using a special cartridge, in conjunction with the Uptime! program, the Coffee Soul performs a descale procedure overnight and is ready for use in the morning. Staff simply put the Uptime! cartridge in, set the programme on the touchscreen and the machine does the rest.
