Moffat drives for growth with management restructure

Scottish manufacturer focuses on new product development.

E & R Moffat has made recent changes to its management structure that are designed to drive the company forward.  “New product development is at the heart of our growth strategy,” says managing director William Moffat.  “We’ve always had close relationships with our customers, both dealers and end users, and we’ve worked with them to develop our NPD strategy – in some cases that means improvements to established lines, in others it’s about evolving new ideas and concepts. The new structure is designed to ensure our NPD continues to evolve to meet our customers’ changing needs.”

Liam Barr is promoted to engineering manager, replacing David Hair who takes up the position of works manager.  Sinclair Campbell moves into the role of general manager, and David McPherson takes up the new position of national sales manager.

John Wannan has moved from sales and marketing to new product development manager.  Donald Reid (pictured) moves from operations to become sales manager.  He points out that the new structure brings together a wealth of knowledge, with the team collectively representing well over 100 years’ experience in foodservice equipment manufacturing.  “Our product development plans are designed to underline our strength in areas such as foodservice counters and grab and go merchandisers,” Donald adds.
