Simply Cooler Refrigeration

Precision launches 2014 range at Hotelympia

Stand 1836, Hotelympia 2014, ExCeL London, 28th April – 1st May

Precision's MCU 211 counter refrigerationPrecision says it has designed its 2014 range to be the most attractive and flexible refrigeration on the market, and that it boasts some of the best energy efficiency figures around.  The British manufacturer unveils the new models at Hotelympia on stand 1836.

The range features an all-new iCool controller, which minimises energy use by adjusting to the operating conditions.  Standard smart controllers will turn the refrigeration system on less often when it’s quiet.  However, the new iCool actually learns how the cabinet is being used – the number of door openings during specific periods and so on – and uses that information intelligently, to forecast likely conditions and run as efficiently as possible.

The controller also has an oversize LED screen with simple controls – on/off, and temperature up or down – so it is attractive, easy to monitor and very user-friendly.

Smooth, rounded lines with attractive features, such as designer handles and grills, make the new range ideal for both kitchen and front of house.  The features are also practical: for example, the new grill delivers the best possible airflow while protecting the system from spills.

Flexibility is built into the range.  Counter refrigerators, such as the two-door MCU 211, can be supplied in three depths and eight heights, with a wide choice of worktops.  Plus, the front-venting refrigeration system means the counter can be built in to a worktop run, with no need for ventilation to the side or rear.

This level of customisation goes through the whole range and means a ‘standard’ Precision unit can be supplied to the precise needs of the individual site.  There’s no need to specify the temperature when ordering a cabinet, since the operator can adjust the refrigerator from -2 to +4°C, to store specific products, such as meat or dairy, in their ideal conditions.
