True’s strong, refrigerated chef’s base supports up to 325kg of cooking equipment
Refrigerated units with drawers are an energy conscious and convenient option for the commercial kitchen. Less cold air escapes when they are opened and they are easy to organise. To increase layout options in the kitchen, True has designed a refrigerated, drawered chef base that has such a high standard of insulation and strength it can support equipment for charboiling, grilling or frying with no loss of performance.
The cabinets are made with a one-piece, heavy gauge reinforced stainless steel top and stainless steel front and sides. The top is fitted with True’s drip resistant ‘V’ edge to protect against spills and, depending on the model, can hold up to 325kg of cooking equipment.
The drawers accommodate standard 102mm deep full-size 1/1 gastronorm pans that run front to back for easy access. Configurations include one, two and three section refrigerators with two drawers per section. The one section model accommodates three full-size pans per drawer, while two and three section models accommodate two or three full-size pans per drawer.
True’s heavy duty refrigeration system has been designed with the balanced and environmentally friendly parameters True uses in all its refrigeration units. It holds products at a steady 0.5 to 3.3 degrees C and a front-breathing vent allows the chef’s base to be fitted snugly into a work area.
Each drawer is fitted with recessed handles and full perimeter magnetic gaskets which are removable for cleaning. They are lined with white aluminium with stainless floor and coved corners. The foamed-in-place Ecomate high density, polyurethane insulation has zero ozone depletion potential and zero global warming potential.
