Rational is offering chefs and foodservice professionals access to what it calls its combi steamer ‘knowledge-base’. Now the company is offering chefs three ways to access this unrivalled knowledge-base: online, at seminars and one-to-one with its own expert chefs.

The company has a policy of only employing sales and support staff who have been chefs. So nearly all the personnel who deal directly with customers are not only Rational experts, they’re expert chefs, too. Rational believes this means they can fully empathise with customers because they speak their language and, having been there, know exactly what the issues in a commercial kitchen are.

Rational’s programme of seminars runs throughout the year at venues across the UK. Academy seminars are mainly for owners of SelfCooking Centers and offer full day, intensive training in advanced combi techniques.
