Heading for Rockingham on June 14th? If the cars, the rallies, the stunts (including the OTT Stunt Team), the racing and the French Car Show buzz start getting visitors over-heated, help is at hand courtesy of show sponsors Adrian Flux. They’ve converted the Rockingham Welcome Centre into a Chill Out Zone for weary revellers. There are giant beanbags, refreshments and beautiful hostesses in the shapely shape of the hottest girls in insurance, the Flux Babes.
And once visitors have recovered their cool there are all sorts of entertainments including pool and table footie.
For anyone with the urge to sort out a cheap deal on their car insurance, the Babes are on hand to dish out advice and quotes – they can even sort instant cover, on the spot. Plus, anyone can enter the £100 cash prize draw, simply by filling in a couple of details on the form that the Babes will be handing out at the Zone.
Frenzy at the French Car Show: the Flux F1 Pit Stop Challenge
Visitors to the Zone can also cheer on the teams taking part in Flux’s Formula 1 Pit Stop Challenge. The competition replicates the frenzy of a real F1 pit stop, with teams battling against the clock to change the wheels, including jacking up the front and rear of the Grand Prix car. The Flux F1 Pit Stop Challenge is open to teams from car clubs at the show, with big prizes (as well as bragging rights) for the winners.
Tickets for the Adrian Flux French Car Show cost £12.95 in advance, or £15 on the gate, and under-14s get in free. Camping costs £15 per car of up to four people. Book in advance through www.frenchcarshow.co.uk and get priority car parking and a free window sticker.
