Panning in: black is the new colour for functionality

Cambro’s H-Pan High Heat food pans now available in black

Cambro’s H-Pan High Heat food pans are a great alternative to stainless steel. Designed for use in microwaves, steam tables and ovens, they are now available in black alongside the existing popular amber colour. While being extremely functional, both colours enhance merchandising, making food more appealing. The new black pans look especially smart for deli and service lines.

The pans are temperature resistant from -40°C to 190°C, scratch resistant and very hard wearing. They can go from prep, to cooler, to oven to hot holding applications, so food does not need to be transferred from one pan to another reducing the risk of cross contamination. The design evenly distributes heat from the holding unit through the pan directly into the food, eliminating hot and cold spots.

The High Heat Pans retain their shape and won’t bend or warp, so create more contact area with steam tables or other hot holding equipment. Traditional metal pans get bent with use allowing steam and heat to escape, driving up energy costs and putting food temperatures at risk. Moulded in graduations in metric and standard measures allow for easy inventory.

The Cambro pans’ easy to clean non-stick interior surface increases yield.  They are dishwasher safe, stack neatly for storage and, with a uniform 1.27cm flange, fit all leading manufacturer’s hot holding bins, food wells, steam tables and holding ovens.  They are available in a range of sizes from full Gastronorm downwards. High Heat covers complete the system.

“These pans are superbly practical,” says Luke Carman, sales manager UK & Ireland for Cambro UK. “They are lightweight yet sturdy, and look brilliant in food displays.”

Cambro has a huge range of pans, both standard and High Heat to cover most food service applications.
