We are Premier League!!!

So, what a season it’s been for us all here at Publicity Works Towers supporting our beloved Canaries. Their promotion campaign has been equal parts dread, optimism, outright pleasure, plus rare bouts of dismay. Ultimately, however, it’s concluded in relief and celebration – Norwich City are back in the top flight, and got there in fairy-tale fashion.

There’s been no big foreign investment, yet plenty of international influence on the pitch with the most eclectic elevens we’ve seen line-up for us at ‘The Carra’. From the goals of Finnish frontman Teemu Pukki, to the elegance and Argentinian fieriness of Emi Buendia, the resilience of captain Christoph Zimmermann at the back and the pace and unpredictability of the soon-to-be first Cuban to play in the Prem, Onel Hernandez. This motley bunch have been combined with a terrifyingly young, fearless foursome of home-grown lads, and a hotchpotch of players that Danny Rose would have to Google. To say the least, no one expected them to do it. And especially not when the charismatic, but slightly sinister looking Daniel Farke was recruited – becoming not only the first head coach in the club’s history, but also the first foreign boss appointed.

Yet this chap from Steinhausen has fully adopted Nelson’s county as his home, and the club has in return accepted him as one of its own. It has certainly been an adventure to date, with him at the helm, and long may it continue. Watch out Premier League, Farkelife’s coming!
