Caffeine launches flavours bolt-on to top of the range bean-to-cup espresso system
One issue with bean-to-cup machines is that while the best ones can produce a great coffee, their menus can be restricted. Now coffee machine specialist Caffeine Limited has launched a bolt-on to its top of the range Coffee Art Plus system that allows the unit to make not just a full range of espresso-based beverages but also flavoured coffees, with a choice of four different flavours, all at the touch of a button.
The Coffee Art Plus is manufactured in Switzerland by Schaerer, the market-leader in bean-to-cup technology. The new bolt-on is called Flavour Point and it can use syrups or alcohol to flavour drinks. In conjunction with the Coffee Art Plus system, it can make both hot and cold beverages and, as well as popular coffee-based drinks such as vanilla latte macchiato, it can also make milk shakes.
Flavour Point is designed to match in with the attractive Coffee Art Plus facia, to make a seamless and compact beverage system. Operation is simple; the Coffee Art Plus touch-screen has clear graphics allowing the user to select their drink and flavour. In fact, with the Flavour Point bolt-on, a Coffee Art Plus menu can be programmed with well over 100 drink variations.
Coffee Art Plus is designed for high-end sites with high volume demand: it is capable of making 350 top quality beverages per hour. “With Flavour Point and Coffee Art Plus we have an all-singing, all-dancing bean-to-cup system that replicates the drinks on the most comprehensive coffee menu, at the touch of a button,” says Justin Stockwell, managing director of Caffeine Limited. “Thanks to Schaerer’s advanced technologies, the quality, taste and aroma are not only totally consistent but also just as good as a barista-made beverage.”
Coffee Art Plus systems have list prices starting from £8,500. Caffeine Limited distributes the Schaerer range via dealers nationwide and all machines are backed by a comprehensive 12 month warranty.
Caffeine Ltd is one of the UK’s leading coffee machines specialists, distributing brands including Schaerer and Gaggia. The company also offers a comprehensive choice of coffee service accessories. For more information visit caffeineonline.co.uk.
