Rational will be putting the SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency through its paces at Hotelympia 2014Rational’s SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency® is the most advanced combi steamer. It can roast, poach, bake, toast, braise and pan fry – all at the touch of a button and all with consistent quality. On Stand 2649 at Hotelympia, the expert chefs from Rational will put the SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency through its paces cooking tasty food from the moment the doors open on 28th April till they close at the end of the day on 1st May.

The SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency is a truly multifunctional cooking appliance. During the show Rational chefs will demonstrate the variety of menu items the unit can cook – many at the same time ­­– so visitors can experience the Rational taste. A single SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency can replace up to 50% of all conventional cooking appliances in a typical kitchen such as ovens, hot air units, tilting pans, boilers, steamers or grills.

The Rational chefs have planned their Hotelympia programme carefully so the food being cooked matches the time of day. Expect to taste breakfast items early on, pastries at coffee time, meats, pizza and other luncheon-type dishes around the midday slot, followed by cakes and cookies as the afternoon progresses. Visitors to the Rational stand won’t go hungry.

Everything prepared in the SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency is cooked to perfection. Its HiDensityControl, a patented dynamic air mixing technology, precisely controls heat and humidity to deliver outstanding cooking quality and maximise output, since it means chefs can load up to 30% more food into the same size cooking cabinet.  It also reduces energy consumption by up to 20% and cuts production time by up to 30%, compared to previous models.

When it’s necessary to cook mixed loads Rational’s Efficient LevelControl tells the user which different foods can be cooked together and intelligently controls the cooking time for each rack, according to the amount of food and how often, and for how long, the door is opened during the cooking process.

And at the end of the session the SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency’s CareControl matches how much cleaning is needed for the level of cooking residues, adjusting the automatic cleaning process so the units will be sparkling and fresh for the next day’s visitors.
