Cosy jumpers for chickens

At first I thought it might be April 1st when I spotted this on the BBC News website, but it appears to be serious. Jane, Blaine, of Eynsham, knits jumpers for battery hens that have lost their feathers and might otherwise be feeling the cold.
They look quite smart really!
