Inside the Energy+ are two heat exchange mechanisms that make use of the waste heat to heat up the incoming cold water fill. An air-to-water heat exchanger takes the waste steam from the dishwasher and uses it to heat the incoming cold water, and a water-to-water heat exchanger uses heat from the wastewater to further boost the temperature of the incoming fresh water.

This dual heat exchange not only slashes heating costs, but by condensing the steam to remove its heat, it also removes the need for a separate extractor hood as there is no steam to escape when the dishwasher is opened. This makes working conditions in the wash area much more pleasant and keeps kitchen staff happier over the festive period and beyond.
