LATEST ENTRANTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE ADRIAN FLUX CLASSIC CAR & BIKE SHOW, BEAULIEU 2009
Line-up includes gorgeous Jaguar, Studebaker, Fiat cars, and rare motorbikes

A host of the world’s most gorgeous antique and classic vehicles are lining up for the Adrian Flux Classic Car and Bike Show at Beaulieu next weekend.
Cars booked in to compete for the coveted Adrian Flux Car of the Year award – and a prize worth up to £500 – will include a stunningly elegant 1933 Jaguar SS1, a statuesque 1929 Studebaker Erskine with a unique original wooden Gordon England body, and a gorgeous little 1938 Fiat Topolino convertible in perfect condition.
Amongst the bikes lined up to attend will be the strikingly original and rare 1920s-era ‘feet forward’ Ner-a-Car.
The show is being run in conjunction with Adrian Flux Insurance Services, Classic Car Weekly and Classic Bike Magazine. It will feature a huge variety of motors – from veteran ‘old crocks’ to rare examples of legendary racing cars and concours-quality cars, vans, motorbikes and other old, traditional and unusual vehicles. In addition, the popular Extreme Wheelie demonstrators will be offering visitors the chance to advance their skills in learning how to do wheelies safely.
"The admission price covers not only entrance to the Show, but also full admission to the National Motor Museum, Palace House and Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear, plus various rides and drives," says show organiser Greg Dunningham. "It’s not simply for enthusiasts – it’s a great day out for all the family."
There will be a variety of competitions, prizes and trophies, with a grand prize that includes free insurance for a year, up to a value of £500.
Tickets cost £16.75 per adult (reduced prices for children, seniors and families) and can be purchased on the day or in advance by visiting www.adrianfluxclassic.co.uk. Visitors entering their own classic vehicles (including all cars and bikes over 20 years old) can get in for £10 per person.
Originally called the Wroughton Classic, the Adrian Flux Classic Car & Bike Show has become one of the fastest-growing events in the classic calendar. With classic car insurance specialists Adrian Flux as new headline sponsors for 2009, the Show was moved to the grounds of the National Motor Museum at short notice after losing its original Wroughton venue near Swindon. The show remains the leading southern-region gathering for historic and classic vehicles, and will be back in Wiltshire next year.
