FEM to supply full range of Sirman brand quality catering equipment, with fast turnaround ex-stock

A Mirra slicer, part of the new Sirman range from FEM Sirman SpA, the Italian manufacturer of specialist foodservice equipment, has appointed Foodservice Equipment Marketing Ltd (FEM) as its main distributor in the UK and Ireland.

Sirman is a global brand manufacturing a huge portfolio of products, some of which are already well-established in the UK. The new agreement will see FEM distributing Sirman’s full range including slicing machines, food processors, panini grills, vegetable preparation equipment, contact grills, blast chillers, stick blenders and induction hobs.

The Mirra range of slicers is one of the new lines launched by FEM under the Sirman brand. These gravity feed slicers, designed for meat, cheese and other foods, are robustly built and easy to clean. Safety features include a permanent blade rim guard and emergency stop button. Their speed and precisely adjustable slicing mechanism make them ideal for restaurants, butchers, cafes, coffee shops and bars.

"We will ensure that Sirman products are available ex-stock to customers throughout the UK and Ireland," says Jim Doherty, sales director with FEM, who believes the agreement will provide major benefits, both for dealers and end users. "The Sirman brand represents quality and reliability, while FEM provides fast order fulfillment and a comprehensive after-sales support package."

FEM is a market leader in the sales, marketing and distribution of foodservice equipment products in the UK and Ireland. The company represents several leading manufacturers including Cambro, Hamilton Beach, Manitowoc, Prince Castle, Probbax and Vollrath.

Full details of the Sirman range are available from FEM. The company is also developing a website, www.sirman.co.uk, where customers will be able to find more information and a list of local dealers throughout the UK and Ireland.
