New Vollrath D-Lux chafer buffet range available from FEM
It is said that customers taste with their eyes before their mouths so it is important to display food in an attractive, appetising and appealing way. However, buffet presentation not only needs to look good, but also needs to keep the food at the required temperature without spoiling. Vollrath’s new D-Lux buffet range, available in the UK from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM), creates a sleek and efficient solution for any buffet display.
The Vollrath D-Lux range of chafers comprises of a rectangular full chafer, with an 8.5 litre capacity, and a 6.5 litre round chafer. Both chafers are constructed from mirror-finished, durable stainless steel with dripless roll-top covers that can be easily lifted off for ease of cleaning.
Also in the range is a round soup chafer, with an 11 litre capacity and self-closing lid. The soup chafer can be heated on induction ranges, electric chafer heaters or the included stand, which uses canned fuel. All the chafers have lids that open 90˚ so they can be easily accessed by customers and staff.
The D-Lux cereal dispenser is perfect for self-serve breakfast buffets. The 8.5 litre dispenser has a transparent acrylic body so that customers can see what cereal is available and staff can ensure it is topped up ready for use. The lid is easily removable for topping up and cleaning.
