SHAKING HER WAY TO HAPPINESS!

CNP Professional’s ‘magic’ protein shakes help Sarah Foreman get her figure back.
Sarah’s story shows how it is possible for women to take charge of their body shape.
There is no quick fix to losing weight and getting in shape. Crash dieting just doesn’t work as many women will confirm, it puts untold stress on the body and long-term most women usually end up gaining more weight than they lose. But the solution is surprisingly straightforward – a healthy, balanced, disciplined nutritional plan and regular exercise. The difficulty is finding a suitable programme that really works and once found, sticking to it.

Sarah Foreman of Harold Wood has long experience of the highs and lows of dieting ranging from a low of 7 stone (thanks to glandular fever) to a high of 13st 10lbs in December 2007. But she’s now on track thanks to meeting Dawn Adams, a nutritional advisor, personal trainer and sports massage therapist who said she could “give her a few pointers”.

One of the key ‘secrets’ in Dawn’s plans for Sarah was to base the diet plan around protein shakes called Pro-MS and made by sports nutrition company CNP Professional. Pro-MS is a protein shake specially formulated for women. Pro-MS contains a balanced blend of proteins to make you feel fuller for longer and also contains Soy protein isolate, which has specific health benefits to women.

Back in January 2008 when Sarah met Dawn at a members’ evening at her local gym she had hit rock bottom in self-esteem and motivation, she felt bloated, lethargic and depressed. Unknown to Sarah, her weight had rocketed to an all time high. The first thing Dawn did was to weigh and measure Sarah before giving her a nutritional and exercise plan.

“I wanted to howl with the unfairness of it all when I got on the scales,” says Sarah. “I’ve always kept active so I was shocked at how large I had become and how my weight had crept up. Dawn was very kind and encouraged me to start changing my eating habits right away.”
Dawn suggested Sarah tried CNP Professional’s Pro-MS shakes as they really help with weight loss, and because they have a rich chocolate flavour they seem like a real treat.

“I was very sceptical at first,” said Sarah. “But the protein shakes are very tasty. I love them and look forward to drinking them. Somehow they kick started me into action and gave me the will-power to stick to the new regime.”

In 5 months Sarah has gone down to 12st (total loss 1st 10lbs), she is toned and tighter and has lost 4 to 5 inches off everywhere and the weight is really falling off as she heads to her target weight of around 10 and ½ stone.

“I’m really proud of the progress Sarah has made,” says Dawn. “She has opened her mind to new ideas and the changes are both emotional and physical. She is like a new, fresher, more vibrant younger woman. Quite honestly she looks ten years younger.”

To encourage Sarah to stick to the diet Dawn allows her to have a sweet treat every Wednesday and the treat meal of her choice on Saturday evening. That way she is never more than a few days away from an indulgence and effectively no food is ever banned.

Like many women Sarah has always been active but it was her food choices that were letting her down. Now she is not only active but incorporates weight training into her exercise programme. She eats protein at every meal and has at least one Pro-MS per day. She feels better, looks better and is determined that this new self is here to stay.
