Bikesure has developed a new way for dealers to earn commission from online customer referrals – easily and with no hassle. From now on, if a customer clicks through from the dealer’s website to the Bikesure site, and subsequently takes out insurance, the dealer can earn £30 commission per policy – and it’s all fully automatic.
Once signed up to the Bikesure Affiliate Scheme at www.bikesure.co.uk/affiliate, all the dealer has to do is display a Bikesure banner on their website. Any customers who click on the banner to go through to the Bikesure site, and then take out a policy, will earn the commission for the dealer.
There’s a wide choice of Bikesure banners to download so dealers can choose ones that most suit their site.
Dealers already earn referral commissions when their customers call Bikesure using the dealer hotline (0800 089 8070) and quote the dealer’s reference number. The new online referral system will run alongside the established phone-in system.
"Giving customers the choice of taking out insurance online or by phone means they can get insurance anyway they want – and anytime they want," explains Robert Balls of Bikesure. "Either way, the dealer earns the referral commission they deserve."
He adds: "With the new online dealer referral scheme we track any customer activity on the Bikesure site. Every time someone sent to www.bikesure.co.uk from the dealer’s website takes out a new policy, the dealer will receive £30.
"And dealers can keep a track on the scheme anytime by logging in to their personal affiliate homepage, to see how many clicks and sales we’ve had from their site. "
