Cross and Small by name, happy and big winners by nature!

CNP athletes Alvin Small and Lisa Cross triumph at UKBFF Finals in Nottingham

Alvin Small and Lisa Cross at UKBFF Nottingham The recent UK British Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in Nottingham were an important event in the bodybuilding calendar. Bodybuilders and fitness athletes had to qualify at regional shows around Britian for a place in the finals and the chance to show off their physique.

Kerry Kayes, founder of CNP Professional and himself a former champion bodybuilder, was MC at the Championships and had the added privilege to watch two CNP sponsored athletes in winning form taking home some of the trophies.

Alvin Small achieved the ultimate prize of Overall Winner of the Show. This is a great achievement for Alvin on his home turf, as he was also the winner of the over 100kg class. To top off a superb year Alvin has now received his Pro Card recognising him as a top-class bodybuilder and entitling him to compete at Pro Level world-wide.

Alvin who is sponsored by CNP Professional has been weight training since he was sixteen. He uses CNP protein supplements to build up lean muscle tissue for competitions and protect and repair his muscles during training.

In the women’s competitions Lisa Cross, another CNP sponsored athlete, won the Women’s Bodybuilding class. Lisa is a relatively recent convert to the sport of female bodybuilding and only started competing in 2009. Through careful nutrition and training she has built up her physique to winner standard and is looking forward to future competitions.

“We were so proud to have two winning athletes on the podium at the UKBFF,” says Kerry Kayes, founder of CNP. “We make our protein supplements from the best quality proteins so they are easily absorbed into the body promoting the growth of lean muscle tissue and assisting in recovery and repair.”
