FEM launches Gram Professional G+ Compact Series: reliable, energy-efficient refrigeration for professional kitchens
FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) is introducing the Gram Professional G+ Compact Series of energy-efficient refrigerators and freezers designed for demanding commercial kitchen environments. The series combines advanced refrigeration technology, food safety features, and space-saving design with both undercounter and floor-standing models available.
The Gram Professional G+ Compact Series has automatic defrost and rapid temperature recovery, helping maintain consistent performance during busy kitchen operations. An air distribution system ensures even temperature throughout the cabinet, protecting food quality and maintaining food safety standards.
Engineered for efficiency, the units only use compressors where needed, helping reduce power consumption while maintaining optimal cooling performance. Electronic controls with integrated safety functions provide additional protection for stored products, while durable wire shelves with anti-tilt rails offer stability and convenience.
For ease of use all have a reversible right-hand hinged door with a full-length ergonomic handle and lock. Glass-door display versions with integrated LED lighting allow the cabinets to be used for showcasing and display fridges – ideal for front-of-house. The refrigeration units operate within a +2°C to +12°C temperature range and the freezers between -22°C to -5°C.
The Compact 200 models have a small footprint and low height, making them suitable for locations where space is very tight. With low noise emissions, they can be placed under countertops in kitchens, bars, and cafés without disruption. Constructed with a durable ABS interior they are available with a stainless steel or white exterior and can be stacked to provide more usable space within the same small footprint. These models have a gross internal capacity of 128 litres and a net usable storage of 78 litres perfect for keeping items in reach.
The Compact 400 models are 190cm tall, offering increased storage capacity with a small footprint. Highly versatile fitting in most standard kitchen layouts, these models have a higher gross internal capacity of 359 litres and a net usable storage of 266 litres. Models are equipped with castors for mobility and ease of cleaning.
The largest in the range, the Compact 600 models, have a capacity for GN 2/1 containers in depth and at just two metres tall are particularly useful where height restrictions prevent the use of standard GN refrigeration units. They have a gross internal storage of 580 litres and a net usable capacity of 421 litres – ideal for busier kitchens.
The Compact 200 models with solid door design measure 595mm wide by 642mm deep and 830mm high, the 400 models measure 595mm wide by 642mm deep by 1903mm high, and the 600 models are 695mm wide by 868mm deep by 2003mm high. All models are supplied with a five-year parts and labour warranty and a standard 13 amp single phase plug.
