FEM’s new induction fryer fries fast!
Cooking golden fried foods well is a guaranteed customer pleaser, but it’s not always easy to cook them quickly, too. FEM’s new Klondike deep fat fryer uses induction technology to deliver fast heat up times to help busy operators fry great food fast.
Being a countertop model, the Klondike is ideal for compact kitchens and takeaways. Manufactured by Sirman, it measures just 290mm wide by 440mm deep and 407mm high, so it can fit into tight spaces, and has a capacity of 8 litres of oil. The large frying basket can hold up to 1kg of food, and the stainless steel build means it’s easy to clean and look after, while a handy tap at the front makes draining and changing oil a cinch.
The induction system heats the fryer up very quickly and efficiently and the temperature is precisely controlled, from 60°C to 190°C. Even when using cold foods, the fryer recovery time is super-fast, making it ideal for both fresh and frozen ingredients, from chips and vegetables to fish and nuggets.
The Klondike features splash-proof touch controls and a digital display which is bright, highly visible and has a timer that can be set up to 120 minutes. Safety controls include oil overheat protection and an oil level alarm. Meanwhile the Klondike’s energy-saving technology includes automatic shut-down after two hours if the appliance is unused.
The Klondike is supplied with a fry basket and a lid. An optional grid to trap food residue is also available.
The Sirman Klondike induction fryer is available from dealers nationwide and is supplied with a one year parts and labour warranty.
