FEM introduces the Doregrill Steambox Electric Self-Cleaning Basket Rotisserie

Rotisserie cooking gives roasts an amazing taste and a lovely brown crust. Meats cooked this way are real crowd pleasers. The new Doregrill Steambox rotisserie oven now available from FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) is fitted out with everything the modern chef wants. It has an automatic steam cleaning system, a touch screen glass control panel and fabulous cooking quality.

The Steambox uses a combination of fan-assisted hot air to ensure a tender product and direct infra-red heat for colour and crispy skin achieving superb roasting results. Its bespoke automatic steam-cleaning system takes only 15 minutes to complete, a real bonus for busy sites. Designed for optimum viewing and accessibility there are front and back windows, which both open, and quartz lighting protected by glass-ceramic.

It’s really easy to use via the sleek touchscreen glass control panel, digital thermostat and temperature hold mode.  Once the product is ready the automatic shut-off prevents overcooking and wastage. With a capacity of 12 to 16 chickens the Steambox rotisserie keeps up with customer demand even at peak periods.

The interior is fitted with four stainless steel baskets and an integrated rapid-drain fat tray. Removable elements can easily be dismantled prior to steam cleaning. Measuring 860mm (w) x 775mm (d) x 890mm (h), it is supplied with a one-year parts and labour warranty. This model also has an optional heated storage cabinet available to purchase separately.
