British-built, shallow-shelf fridges allow full gastronorm storage, even in galley-style kitchens
The latest launch from British refrigeration manufacturer Precision gives its customers the choice of upright gastronorm cabinets with the doors on either the wide or the narrow side.
The new 602 Series has the door mounted on the wider edge, offering standard gastronorm storage in a shallow-shelf configuration. Standard features include stainless steel interior and exterior, iCool ‘smart’ energy-saving controls, a full 600 litres of storage and a removable shelving system for ease of cleaning.
"The 602 allows us to offer caterers the choice of wide or narrow gastronorm configuration, so that they can buy the fridge or freezer that best matches the space available," says Jeremy Hall of Precision. "The new wider cabinet could be used in galley-style layouts or in any kitchen where gastronorm storage is required but depth is limited."
Like the established 601 Series, which offers standard gastronorm configuration with the door on the narrow edge, Precision’s 602 cabinets are built to industry-leading specifications and are rated to work in ambient temperatures as high as 43C. They are also very competitively priced: despite their stainless steel construction, list prices are lower than many competitors’ budget aluminium models.
The 602 cabinet is available through distributors in refrigeration or freezer versions and is backed by a full 24-month parts and labour warranty.
