Joel Waul broke our Toni’s heart when she saw the size of his world-record rubber band ball, making a mockery as it does of her modest efforts (pictured). Then again, anyone who saw the nut-breaking monkeys on BBC’s Life, and worried that our simian cousins may soon be catching us up, (Planet of the Apes style), can take heart from
the fact that those Capuchin boys might well have taken even longer than the TPW office jocks to work out how to start a rubber band ball off in the first place. And would they have had the dedication required to stick to the task? We think not.
Toni’s balls are fairly sizable! The pink one on the right of the picture is just over 5 inches in diameter and multi-coloured titch comes in at about 2 inches.
Yeah, but you can still hold Toni’s balls in your hand. Try doing that with Joel’s 6 foot whopper.
