Seven steps to pure drinking water from Barista Tech and Bluewater

Barista Tech is now offering advanced water systems from Bluewater

Barista Tech are now supplying the advanced Flow Station water system from Bluewater. This has been designed to give businesses a simple solution for offering high quality drinking water, reducing the reliance on single-use plastic water bottles.

The Bluewater Flow Station features a seven-stage purification system designed to remove up to 99.7% of contaminants as well as enhancing the flavour by carefully adding trace minerals.

The first four stages filter out different size particulates, from pollen and hair all the way down to nano-plastics, viruses and residual chemicals. Once the water has been processed through these filters it moves on to the reverse osmosis stage.

This removes any traces of heavy metals, hormones and pharmaceutical residuals, creating drinking water of remarkable purity. Up to four litres of hot or cold water can be dispensed per minute.

Featuring a sleek futuristic design, the Flow Station uses simple push button controls making it ideal for self-service use. Users can push and hold to dispense as much water as they need, or select from three predefined quantities. Two custom quantities can also be programmed in according to requirements. Chilled water is dispensed at 2°C and hot water at 85°C. To increase safety, users need to press and hold two buttons simultaneously if hot water is required.

The advanced SuperOsmosis system continually cleans the filter membrane during operation, ensuring high through rates and peak purification while increasing the working life. Unlike some reverse osmosis systems, it does not require a holding tank for incoming water, allowing the Flow Station to have a compact footprint of just 457mm w x 1727mm h x 406mm d.
