Martin Cox joins Taylor UK

New sales manager proud to be part of a “great team”

Martin Cox is joining Taylor UK as its new Area Sales Manager for the North of England and Wales. He will be responsible for all new and existing customers in those areas.

Martin, 30, graduated from the University of Surrey with a BA in Politics. Previously he worked as a business manager and car salesman at Perrys Motor Sales for seven years. He lives with his partner and enjoys golf and indoor bouldering.

“Taylor UK is giving me the chance to utilise the experience I have gained in car sales and use it in a business-to-business role,” says Martin. “It’s not an opportunity that comes round very often, so I’m relishing it.”

The working culture at Taylor UK has particularly impressed Martin with its balance of collaboration and trusting in the skills of its staff. “It’s an excellent company,” he says. “I’m given the freedom to manage my own customers but also the support to help me achieve my targets. I’m working on my own for a lot of the time but I know I’ve got a great team behind me backing me up.”
